Days:                    Monday to Friday term time only (job share available)

Contract:             Permanent and term time only

Salary:                 £6.40 – £11.44 depending on age and experience

Overview:

As a Kitchen Porter you will be part of the team specifically responsible for working at Afterschool Club delivering dinner to the children in our care.

The role is term time only; however, we do run successful holiday camps in Haywards Heath with the attraction of additional hours throughout the year if needed.

You will support children in all aspects of dinnertime, including the serving food, cleaning away and using the industrial washing machine to clean the equipment.  You will ensure that you are an excellent role model and meet the standards expected to deliver our high-quality childcare.

The tasks and responsibilities:

• Always provide support for the children at dinnertime
• Provide feedback on children’s likes and dislikes to the club manager
• Develop and inspire children to live and lead active healthy lifestyles
• To run with the day-to-day dinner time
• To maintain help level of hygiene and cleanliness
